Game-Based Learning Approach in Science Education: A Meta-Analysis

In the generation of technological advancement, students tend to have difficulty learning science education since it encompasses numerous fields, making challenging for assimilate knowledge about topic. An approach called game-based exhibits positive results in students' academic performance where teachers integrate a engage and motivate them throughout process. Since there is lack empirical evidence, this metaanalysis study conducted systematic literature review that seeks know methods, theoretical foundations, educational outcomes education. This includes document analysis 26 studies from 2016 2021. Significant findings include (1) most articles employed quasi-experimental research design, (2) utilized strategy games as game genre, (3) theories associated with are rooted constructivism, (4) commonly observed focus on attainment among reviewed literature. imply effective can become productive learning.
